The selfish Giant

I have read The selfish giant but i dont now the author!

Characters:  Giant                             The little boy
   He´s a very selfish giant            He´s a very different boy...
with a beutiful garden.




Three important occurences:

The poor children had nowhere to play. they tried to play on the road, but it was full of hard stoned and were very dusty.

Through a little hole in the wall the childre had crept in, and they were sitting in the branches of the trees. In every tree he could see there was a little child. And the trees was so happy to have the children back again that they had covered themselves with blossoms.

And the child smiled and said "You let me play once in your garden, to-day you shall come to my garden, which is paradise. When the children ran in that afternoon the giant was lying dead under the tree, all covered with white blossoms.


What i liked best by the book:
It was funny and wonderful.
